Get ready to join us for Classics 2024, our annual springtime celebration to honor the incredible and impactful work our community has done this year. This year’s gala event is extra special. We’re recognizing the Minnesota Public Relations Society of America’s 75 years of excellence including honoring some of our chapter’s past presidents! Register today for Minnesota PRSA's 46th Classics Awards banquet, being held Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Central at the Nicollet Island Pavilion.

Emcee:
Jason DeRusha hosts DriveTime from 3-6 afternoons at WCCO Radio. He spent nearly 20 years at Channel 4, including a decade as Morning News Anchor. He last hosted the Classics awards in 2009, when he was the Good Question reporter. It's taken us 15 years to get the bad taste out of our mouths and invite him back (his words, not ours).
Jason also is the Chief Food Critic for Minnesota Monthly, and he has a growing group of hosting, corporate partnerships and influencer jobs.
About the Classics Awards:
Since 1978, the Minnesota PRSA Classics Awards have recognized hundreds of organizations for excellence in public relations. The Classics are presented annually to public relations practitioners who, in the judgment of their peers, have successfully addressed a communications challenge with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness.
The Classics Awards are divided into two categories: Elements and Programs. Elements Awards recognize outstanding individual components or tactics, while Programs awards honor the best overall public relations campaigns.
We’ll also be honoring winners of the Student Classics Awards to showcase some of the best public relations work from college students in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
This is a very special celebration of PR excellence that you don’t want to miss! Register today and we will see you at Classics 2024!
