The Global Capability Framework launched in April 2018 is now the international benchmark for measuring personal and team capability. How do you and your team measure up?

In response to overwhelming demand from its members including PRSA and the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, the worldwide confederation of professional bodies in our field called for a Global Capability Framework (GCF). The aim was to set an international benchmark for practitioners around the world. Developed by researchers and professional associations across seven continents, the GCF was launched in Oslo in April 2018. This webinar creates an opportunity that members of PRSA will have to find out about the GCF and to test themselves against it. Professor Anne Gregory from the U.K., who directed the research, will outline how the Framework was developed and then describe how it can be used by individuals, teams and organizations. You also will have an opportunity to benchmark yourself and plan your own professional development by using the specially commissioned software to produce your own unique profile. Supported by PRSA, the Global Capability Framework is free for all members and is linked to a set of resources that will help you on your professionalism journey.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

Analyze how and why the Global Capability Framework is relevant to their professional development.
Test your PR and Communication Capability Framework.
Map out a professional development plan for the next one to five years.
