Monique Farmer is an accredited public relations professional who runs a PR/Communication firm, Avant Solutions. She is also the creator of Anvil Ready, an online communication strategy builder that aids the communication professional in creating communication plans. She teaches PR at the University of Texas at Austin. Farmer previously served as the director of communications for Nebraska’s largest school district and in corporate communications for ConAgra Foods (now ConAgra Brands). She is a mom of three and the wife of Omaha Fire Captain John Farmer, Jr. for 22 years.

Mollie currently serves as a Lead Employer Brand Consultant at Target Corporation and recently launched Mollie Bush Coaching, LLC, a life & well-being coaching business. With more than 10 years of marketing experience across agency, government and corporate organizations and 3 years of experience coaching within a Fortune 50 corporation, Mollie strives to create transformational change with every project and client she encounters. She is a creative, forward-thinking strategist who loves to uncover how and why things happen as they do, and feels compelled to dig deeper to understand every situation. She is inspired by the future and enjoys designing forward-looking plans to achieve objectives. She strongly believes that if we free ourselves from tradition, we can pave the way for a more innovative future.
Mollie has a bachelors’ degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She is also an ICF Certified Coach through Learning Journeys International Center of Coaching. She has served in several volunteer roles and boards including the Minnesota Chapter of Public Relations Society of America, and previously chaired the Classics Committee for the chapter.
