Description:

Whether you call it work-life balance, work-life integration, family friendly or a flexible workplace, how we approach work and our lives outside of work can result in greater productivity, increased employee retention, improved health, and happier people.

During this panel presentation, you will hear from local researchers who interviewed public relations practitioners who are mothers in the Twin Cities to learn the importance of work-life balance in the profession, what practitioners need to better balance work and life, and what organizations can do to better support them.

You also will hear from two human resources leaders in the Twin Cities about what they and the companies they work for are doing to provide award-winning work-life balance and wellness programs to all team members.

If you are balancing work and children, eldercare, family illness, continuing education, community service, demanding personal pursuits or if you lead people who are, join us for this panel presentation and interactive discussion.

Following the presentation, representatives from Room & Board will provide tours of their headquartered office, showcasing the many work-life balance and wellness benefits the company offers its team members.
