Career Coffee: Redefining Productivity

2022 was the first year since 1983 with three straight quarters of year-over-year drops in average productivity per worker. Employees are working more and producing less during a time when financial stress and economic volatility are the highest since 2008. People are reevaluating their careers and asking, “what’s in this for me?”

The workforce is changing. We are at the crossroads of a generational shift in the employee-employer relationship. Younger generations are pushing back against traditional working norms and employers realize they can’t solve their retention problem with money. It’s time to redefine productivity — as an individual and an organization — to accommodate the changing workforce.

But how? Our April Career Coffee discussion will delve into how and why we must redefine productivity as employees and employers.

The Career Coffee series is free for members and $10 for non-members (per session). Space is limited.
